Just in time for the NBA championship between the Thunder and Heat, Kevin Durant gets a little more personal. In this interview, Durant talks about how he always seeks his mother out after a game, and how he almost quit basketball during the eighth grade. I think this story is very relate-able to many of us, because it’s often that we want to give up on things in life, when we are in reality nearing the light at the end of the tunnel. It amazes me how humble this guy has remained despite all of his successes. Personally, i was rooting for the Thunder to take out the Heat before watching this video, but after seeing it I now have even more of a reason to. Humility, determination, and focus will take you a long ways in life.
