I must say that “Mo Better Blues” was just the proper introduction we needed to Luke James. Deadmau5′s mellow production with the amazing percussion break down to complete the track was just to keep listeners invested into James heartfelt vocals. His vocals are so organic and natural that I’m convinced he doesn’t really even have to try as he releases the harmonies and melodies that must’ve been developed in the church choir as a young boy. While that’s an assumption…I’m convinced that he’s mastered the 10,000 hour needed to be great at something.
