Ab, who’s name has to be short for absolutely talented, is really making me miss the 90′s with the cover. Taking Total’s 1996 single “Kissing You” and calling it his own, Aaron “Ab” Abernathy is now ready to dive into his own solo career as a singer/producer. You might be familiar with him from his work behind the scenes with the likes of Black Milk, The Foreign Exchange, Slum Village, and 14KT, but you’ll really get to know him once he releases the Prologue Vol 1. A two-part series, with the first due to release on July 11th on Okayplayer, features covers of some of our favorite artists such as Lauryn Hill…and wait. I’ve already said too much. Just listen.
